摘要
「敘事」(narratives)是無所不在的言說語詞,將事件的過去、現在與未來的素材組織成敘事結構的動力,所有的事物都是被敘述的,生老病死、食衣住行及昨日、今日種種或明日的所有可能。
「說故事的方式」是在陳述一個事件、觀念或主題,使人們產生興趣且能引發觀眾的好奇心。人們從小就有聽故事的經驗,我們的父母或長輩會對我們說故事,而我們也會對自己的子女說故事,對故事的劇情、內容的接受度也較高,且對「故事」,似乎自然而然的記憶及接受的現象,故事的劇情中更能強化觀眾的想像力以及探求事件的好奇心,如此,一旦觀眾有了好奇心就想得到答案,也因而對展示的內容就能主動的接觸,進而達到博物館的教育功能。
而「說服」是一件不易達成的事件,而展示設計的表達方式其實不像一般的語言溝通,特別是在看似〝雙向溝通〞但確實為〝單向溝通〞的〝局〞中,展示設計的說服更是有其難度。
本研究係以「敘述性思維模式」來分析博物館的展示設計,主要以田野調查、文獻理論研究、敘述學、傳播學的概念,將所採用的案例作敘述性模式的分析。主要的調查對象以科博館中國科學廳及科工館中華科技廳為例。並從案例理論分析中,了解敘述性思維在展示設計的運用性,並進一步分析出敘述思維的勸服技巧。

Narratives is a word that exist everywhere in our life. It composed the elements in the past, present and the future of an event which is the power of narrative structure. Everything is being described in our daily life, for instance, living in the world, getting old, being sick, dying, the possibilities of the past, today and even the very future.
"Telling a story" is a way to describe an event, an idea or even a theme which can arouse people''''s interests and curiosities. People have the experience of listening stories in their childhood. Our parents or grandparents will tell us stories, and so do we. It is very nature for us to listen, to accept and to remember the stories. The plot of the story can reinforce the imaginations and curiosities of the audiences. Once the audiences are curious, they are eager to know the answers of it. They would learn the content of the exhibition actively. It is a way for museums to achieve the function of educating people.
However,"convince of the audience" is not that easy for the exhibits in the museums. It is different than any other way of communication. Moreover, it is not two-way but one-way communication between the exhibits in the museums and the audience. Because of this situation, how to convince the audience toward the exhibits become much difficult.
This research is base on the theory of "narratives thinking model" to analyze the display in the museums. Science Hall in the Science Museum and Science Hall in the China Museum are the cases to be used in this paper. Both the literature review are the ways to collect the data. Moreover, studies and concepts of narratives and mass media will be used in this paper, too. We will see how the narrative thinking to be applied in the sign of the exhibits, and analyze the techniques of persuading of the narrative thinking.
