以敘事建築觀點研究1990年以後台灣的公共建築-以博物館為例

摘 要

建築,“是一種意識形態的障礙物”(Tafuri,1979/1980:59)。隱含大量的意識型態與難以釐清的權力脈絡關係。建築師的構造為社會的意識型態者,對城市規劃進行個人化干預,對公眾則扮演形式方面的說服角色,就其自身之問題與發展則是自我批評角色(Tafuri,1973/1976:3)。塔夫里認為任何時代的建築都擁有自身的批判的內核,實踐建築做為批評的媒介,建築是需要通過探索、試驗、變形,語言轉為建築符號語言,論述建築自身也就在建築的符碼中探索符碼。


台灣現今建築論述與寫作,不是針對單一個案進行描繪式的探討,就是感官與心得寫作式的分析,而少見具有清晰且完整架構之論述流程與系統;故本研究進而針對敘事性的理論與框架進行建構,主以貫時性之歷史演繹並佐以共時性之理論驗證,避免論述淪為主觀意識、心得感想、謾罵譏笑,但不全然以此理論框架做為看待建築之方法與濾鏡,而是提供一個具體框架與操作性細項的詮釋模型,除了提出對建築意識形態解秘外,尚能透析其背後關鍵權力操控之脈絡,得以去神秘化並揭開建築之人為神話,得以瞭解歷史,知悉建築營建過程與意義,產生完整之形式表徵之脈絡過程。


因此,本研究將台灣公共建築演變與論述之反思,探討並推演出適合建築專業領域之敘事性詮釋模型,得以審視歷史進行批判、繼承,建立完整檢討與反省改進之依據,佐以台灣當代具代表的案例解析,熟成論述與框架操作之適應性,冀望於此理論框架模擬下,有助於建築產業的發展,而未來得以健全且具有參考之敘事性設計理論體系運用。 


[ 英文摘要 ] 
The building is "a kind of barrier to ideology" (Tafuri, 1979/1980:59), which implies a large amount of ideology and relationships between the complicated contexts of powers. The architects’ structures represent the ideology of society, which intervene individually in the urban planning, act as the persuader in form to the public, and play the role of self-criticism in terms of its problems and development (Tafuri, 1973/1976:3). Tafuri believes that building in every era has the kernel of its self-criticism and can fulfill the concept of regarding architure as the media of criticizing. The building needs to go through exploring, testing, and changing. When a language is transferred to a symbolic language of building, expounding building itself explores the codes in the codes of the building as well. 

Arguments and writings about building in Taiwan either depict the individual case with only description, or analyze with senses and impressions, but rarely see a clear and complete procedure and systematically intact structure. Therefore, this research constructs the narrative theory and frame, making vertically historical deduction and proving it with the horizontal theory, which avoids the argument from becoming subjective consciousness, personal impressions, or abuse and ridicule. It does not completely regard this theoretical frame as a method and filter of treating building, but offers an interpretative model containing concrete frames and operating details. Besides decrypting the ideology of building, it can also dialyze the sequence behind its control of crucial power. It deciphers and uncovers the artificial mythology of building, making people comprehend history and know the meaning and procedure of building construction, and thus bring out the consequent course of completely formal symbol emerges. 

Therefore, this research will introspect the development and argument of public buildings in Taiwan, probing into and deducing the interpretative model of narrative mode that is suitable for the professional field of architecture. It can thus examine history closely to criticize and inherit, establishing a basis of thorough self-criticism and improvement. With the analyses of typical cases in Taiwan, it maturely expounds the adaptability to operate with the frame, hoping to contribute to the development of the architectural industry under this simulation of frame theory, and thus in the future there will be healthy applications of theoretical system of design that contains references of narrative mode.
