在台灣會過冬的紫斑蝶家族
The purple butterfly family
overwintering in Taiwan

紫斑蝶家族裡，最大的蝴蝶是大紫斑蝶，
就是在生態圖中間靠左一點的大蝴蝶。
可惜的是，在1960年代滅絕了，你覺得是什麼原因造成的呢？
The largest butterfly species in the purple butterfly family
is Formosan large crows.
Regretfully, they were extinct in the 1960s.
What do you think causes their extinction?

1. 端紫斑蝶 (雄) striped blue crow (Euploea mulciber, male)
2. 小紋青斑蝶 dark blue tiger (Tirumala septentrionis)
3. 斯氏紫斑蝶 (雄) double-branded blue crow (Euploea sylvester, male)

5. 大紫斑蝶 great crow (Euploea phaenareta)
6. 赤條狡蛛 red striped spider (Dolomedes saganus)

9. 淡紋青斑蝶 (雄) blue tiger (Tirumala limniace, male)
10. 端紫斑蝶 (雌) striped blue crow (Euploea mulciber, female)
11. 琉球青斑蝶 Ceylon blue glassy tiger (Ideopsis similis)

Further information

-Also found to overwinter in small groups in the purple butterfly valley in southern Taiwan are blue tigers, Ceylon blue glassy tigers, and common tigers.
